Renting a commercial unit in Ibiza
In Ibiza vacant units let fast, especially between autumn and spring, when businesses get ready for the season. Those who arrive with a clear project and their paperwork ready usually get the unit; those who start looking in March often open with the summer already under way.
A commercial lease is almost entirely negotiable: term, a rent-free period during the works, guarantees and who pays each expense depend on what is signed. So before talking about rent, check that your activity fits the unit.
The units in this section are let with no key money: nothing is paid to a previous tenant for the business or the fit-out, only the rent and the guarantees in the lease. Units handed over with a running business are in the transfers section.
